Swisscom has entered a long-term partnership with SCION commercial provider Anapaya.
Swisscom, the leading telecommunications provider in Switzerland, has entered a long-term partnership with SCION commercial provider Anapaya. Swisscom is ready to offer SCION-enabled business ecosystems, which means greater network flexibility, control, and reliability, for their B2B customers.
Swisscom has long been committed to cyber security innovation and was one of the early sponsors of SCION almost a decade ago when it was still being researched and developed at ETH Zürich. As an early supporter of SCION technology, Swisscom was instrumental for SCION’s development as a viable business solution.
Today, Swisscom has entered into a long-term partnership with SCION commercial provider, Anapaya. Swisscom is now fully equipped to provide SCION-enabled business ecosystems and showcase their global backbone through the SCION network cockpit. Increased control, visibility, and internet availability will be guaranteed advantages to Swisscom’s B2B customers in Switzerland and abroad.

SCION enables its users to custom-design network paths, end-to-end, across multiple carriers in the globe. This allows users to control where their confidential and valuable data travel, avoid high-risk geopolitical regions, and optimise network path selection based on availability, cost, speed, latency, and other requirements of hyper-connected multinational companies.
